Graduated from De La Salle University Bachelor of Science in Computer Science in 2002. He is currently a Java developer mostly involve in middleware applications. He's a committer in the Apache ActiveMQ project, which is a high speed JMS provider, and Apache ServiceMix project, which is a JBI compliant enterprise service bus. He is also part of the development team for LogicBlaze FUSE, which is an open source SOA platform based on the Apache ServiceMix project.

CESAR S. DIDELES JR. - Science Research Specialist, Advanced Science and Technology Institute (ASTI)
Cesar is currently the technical lead of the IP Telephony Group of ASTI, who was responsible for the successful implementation of the first nationwide VoIP network for DOST and selected ASTI-PREGINET partners in 2004. Mr. Dideles is one of the technical consultant for the Design of Government-Wide VoIP Telecommunications Systems.
Mr. Dideles is active on international research collaboration for drafting new standards related to Voice over IP peering. Among his active involvements are: a member of the Asia Pacific Advanced Network(APAN) H.323-SIP Working Group; main technical coordinator for the Philippine National ENUM Trial Technical Working Group. Moreover, Mr. Dideles also maintains the H.323 GDS Philippine country gatekeeper for GDS number starting +63 for VIDE gatekeeper community.
DANIEL ESCASA - Independent Writer, Consultant
Daniel (Danny) Escasa is a freelance computer technology writer and consultant whose FOSS experience began with FreeBSD 3.0 in 1998. He now runs DesktopBSD (FreeBSD 5.4 + KDE + desktop utilities) on the same computer. The Free Software on that computer has helped him write articles which have appeared in Free Software Magazine, Mobile Philippines, and Ahead, among others.

RUSSELL GARCIA - Systems Engineer, Avaya
Russell Garcia is currently a Systems Engineer for Avaya, a global leader in communication systems, applications, and services. His main responsibility is in providing enterprise solutions using Avaya’s IP telephony and call center applications. He is currently handling Deposit Systems, Internet Banking and B2B Integration Projects, mostly dealing with integration points between TelCos and Financial Networks such as BancNet. JEROME GOTANGCO - External Vice President, PLUG
Jerome Gotangco is currently a member of the Edubuntu Community Council. He is also a volunteer for the Ubuntu Documentation Project, a project that develops and maintains documentation for the Ubuntu operating system. He currently serves as External Vice President of the Philippine Linux Users Group, the oldest Linux users' group in Asia. He is also a frequent speaker and author on the topic of Ubuntu and free software.
MIKE LIGUIT - PLUG
A Linux enthusiast and advocate, Mike Liguit is an active member and former board member of the Philippine Linux Users' Group and has conducted seminars on Linux and FOSS on various universities around the Philippines, most recently in Cagayan State University in the city of Tuguegarao. And, as a seasoned systems administrator with six (6) years of Linux experience already in his belt, he is currently the Senior Technical Consultant of Cerberus Technologies, a small open source company which offers Linux consultancy and a variety of FOSS solutions and has done projects with major banks and other financial institutions. Also a part-time Linux instructor, he started as a Science Research Assistant at the Advanced Science and Technology Institute with the team that developed the first release of Bayanihan Linux. Most of his projects today involve vulnerability assessments, network security, and IP Telephony.
MICHAEL LIM - Chief Technical Officer, Exist
Michael Lim has been in the I.T. industry for 10 years doing software development and high level software design for 2-tier and N-tier based application infrastructure. He has helped developed business solutions for companies such as Meralco and Asian Development Bank. He is currently the Chief Technical Officer for Exist Engineering helping in the development and design of various J2EE based application with extensive use of Java-based open source tools and frameworks. Dr. Pablo Manalastas, Associate Professor of the Ateneo de Manila University - Department of Mathematics. He is a Linux user number 5037, first one to register from the Philippines at the Linux Counter. Emeritus first president, Philippine Linux Users' Group (PLUG). PLUG maintains a very active mailing list for Linux support and self-help. Maintainer, AdmuLinux distribution. Admulinux is a minimal but complete Linux distribution for use by students in program development. Ph.D. in Mathematics. Erdos No. 2, co-authored a paper, "Every directed graph of stability two has a Hamiltonian path", with C.C.Chen (Erdos No. 1) who co-authored a paper with Paul Erdos (Erdos No. 0). DR. ALVIN MARCELO
Dr. Alvin B. Marcelo is a general and trauma surgeon by training. After residency, he took his post-doctoral fellowship in medical informatics at the National Library of Medicine in Bethesda, Maryland with research interests in telepathology and wireless handheld applications. He is currently a clinical associate professor of surgery at the Philippine General Hospital and concurrently associate professor of medical informatics at the UP College of Medicine. Together with Dr. Maramba, he founded the Philippine Medical Informatics Society, Inc in 1996.

Mr. Macoy Mejia is the head of research and development for Imperium. He leads the engineering of core system, interface design for enterprise solutions. REUBEN RAVAGO - OLM Tech
Reuben Ravago is a graduate of the University of the Philippines College of Engineering where he took up his undergraduate course in Computer Science and his master's course in Electrical Engineering major in Computers and Communication. He pursued the discipline of research and development while working in the Advanced Science and Technology Institute of the DOST where he was most fortunate to have had the privilege of being among the first to have Internet connectivity in the Philippines. It was also at ASTI where he got his first download of Linux in the form of the Slackware distribution. Taking these two technologies with him, he jumped into the private industry during the Internet boom and found himself at the helm of the Biggest ISP in the country, Infocom. He then moved on from the infrastructure side of the internet and focused on software applications development in his own company, K2 Interactive. His latest endeavor takes him now to another startup, OLM Technologies, focusing on network monitoring services.

Jaime Sebastian G. Sicam is currently the team leader of Bayanihan Linux, the alternative desktop solution for government agencies, schools and SMEs. Since he joined the team last 2003, he has co-developed previous versions of Bayanihan Linux and has conducted seminars and trainings on open source software.
He is also one of the system administrators of the Bayanihan Linux website and a new member of the network operations team of PREGINET(Philippine Research, Education and Government Information Network).

As an IT veteran of over 20 years, Peter brings a wealth of experience in IT and associated infrastructure environments to his current position as the Business Development Manager.
In his role, Peter works closely with the product management and marketing teams in the design, development and marketing of Emerson Network Power’s business-ready propositions that are focused around IT applications.
